The curriculum is designed with the understanding that children need to play, manipulate, explore and experiment with real objects to add knowledge and learn new skills. It encourages a child’s natural and innate interest in learning and questioning.
The core components of RPS Curriculum for seniors are:
Literacy in English
English learning not only creates a modern time’s most effective personality tool but it helps in learning other subjects of study also. Kindergarten children effectively communicate in English and have a good understanding of the alphabets. They will also become proficient in their phonetic sounds, setting the basis for writing as well as reading.
Mathematics
Children learn about patterns in the environment, number concepts, comparisons, simple graphs and basic adding and subtracting and thus become a problem solver. A practical approach to learning and understanding numbers will build a concrete basis for the theoretical concepts of mathematics.
Science & Technology
Children explore their curiosity about the natural world, differentiate between characteristics of common materials and identify cycles in natural techniques of observation. They learn about science and technology through hands on activities, experiments and guided research projects. Hindi
Hindi is our national language and we give equal emphasis in the curriculum. Children will be fluent in Hindi and familiar with the alphabets, as well as with other components of basic written Hindi.
